History Of Rising Winds Equestrian

How it all began

Rising Winds started from a passion for horses and a friendship between two women.  This facility is owned by two women, Sherrie Fraser and Amie Swanson, both life long equestrians. Rising Winds Equestrian is located in Tiny Ontario, with gorgeous views overlooking Georgian Bay and in the winter months the lights of Blue Mountain ski hill are visible.

Rising Winds has seen kids start their riding experience and develop their skills, showing at many levels of competition in Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing and many doing it just for the love of the animal. We have riders and owners of all ages. We welcome everyone who wants to learn and love horses.

We have an indoor riding area as well as large grass ring where we have  stadium and cross country fences set up. We have beautiful trails through hay fields that make it the most picturesque ride. We are a short ride to the beach or the Simcoe County trails.  Need to lunge your horse, no problem. We have a round pen for lunging or just playing with your horse.
