Riding Lessons

Whether you are a beginner or experienced rider, young or aged, we have something for you. Our coaches all come with years of riding and coaching experience. Rising Winds riders have shown locally, and provincially with great success.

We welcome riders from age 6 and up to come learn all about horses and how to ride. A lesson is never just about sitting on a horse, it is so much more. Are you interested in competing? We have several show series that we attend each year including winter and summer. We are fortunate enough to have an indoor arena so we can ride all year. Just want to learn about horses and do not have a competitive streak? No worries, we have something for everyone. We offer Adult only lessons to provide adults a chance to ride without the children around.

Assessment

$70.00

This one hour assessment includes a tour of the facility, a private lesson and a discussion about goals. It is an opportunity for the Coach and Rider to get to know the expectations of each other and for the Coach to do a needs analysis (strengths, weaknesses, confidence, comfort, ability). It is possible for some riders that privates will be suggested at this time.
